Yuji Katsui, an electric violinist, plays with number of music groups such as “ROVO”.”KOMA"."TWIN TAIL”.“ DRAMATICS" . "Yuji Katsui × U-zhaan" . “FISHMANS".

ROVO . KOMA . TWIN TAIL . DRAMATICS . 勝井祐二 × U-zhaan . FISHMANS . などのバンドやユニットと、ソロや様々な音楽家との即興演奏で、エレクトリック・ヴァイオリンの表現の可能性を追求し続ける第一人者。
「1991-1992 JAPAN - UK Festival」の中心展示「VISIONS OF JAPAN」(Victoria and Albert Museum)のサウンド・ディレクターを務め、渡英。帰国後、日本最初期のレイヴ・パーティー「WATER」をオーガナイズする。
96年、山本精一と「ROVO」結成。バンド編成のダンスミュージックで、90～00年代以降のオルタナティブ～野外フェスティバルのシーンを牽引した。
02年に初来日したファナ・モリーナ、フェルナンド・カブサッキとの共演を機にアルゼンチンの新しい音楽シーンと交流を深める。
09年には、サイケデリック・ロック・バンド「GONG」の結成40周年を記念したアルバム「2032」に、スティーブ・ヒレッジと共に参加。以後「SYSTEM 7」のアルバムにも参加するなどの交流を続け、2013年「ROVO and SYSTEM 7」名義のアルバム「Phoenix Rising LP」を世界発売。2013～2014年にかけて、アジア～ヨーロッパツアーを行い、フジロックフェスティバル'14に凱旋。
2016年 ROVO結成20周年記念アルバム「XI (eleven)」発表。
2017年にはスガダイローとのデュオユニットですみだジャズフェスティバルのトリフォニー大ホールのヘッドライナーとして出演するなど、ソロ～デュオの活動の幅も広がっている。
CazU-23 (TURTLE ISLAND/SU-89)
愛知県在住のギタリスト。
1991年より、東京を中心にハードコアパンクギタリストとして、幾多のバンドで活動。
2008年より、サイケデリック、ドローン、ノイズ、アンビエント感を和えた即興演奏や、セッション活動を開始。
倍音特性の高い、ギターサウンドで描く音景色。
演奏家、DJ、舞踏、ダンス、映像、光、芝居、詩歌、ヨガ、料理、巨石、神社仏閣などと、様々なコラボレーションを展開。
2010年よりTURTLE ISLANDに参加。
2015年、ソロ作品「月の向こうへ」(CD)リリース。

80年代後半よりパンク/ハードコアに影響を受けドラマーとし音楽活動を開始。
90年代のテクノ/レイブ黎明期にDJとして関わりながらSOFT/AOAの中心メンバーとして活動。
07年より沖縄に活動拠点を移し2011年CHURASHIMA NAVIGATOR(美ら島ナビゲーター)を結成、自身のレーベルbudryukyuを運営する。
近年はモンゴル/タイ/ベトナム等アジア各国でもプレイしている。
